چکیده
Assessing the health and security of natural ecosystems is unavoidable to regulate manage deterioration prioritize management conservation activities. As a result, current study was conducted assess ecological Galazchai Watershed in Oshnavieh Township, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran, utilizing criteria linked various hydrologic, anthropogenic, climatic aspects. In conceptual pressure–state–response (PSR) method, 26 with acceptable variance inflation factor Durbin–Watson statistics were chosen. The Watershed's ecology's status spatial differences also chosen analyzed at 17 subwatersheds. contributions pressure (P), (S), reaction (R) indices watershed index 38.3, 30.1, 31.6%, respectively, according findings. for ranged from 0.388 0.688. Almost 64% watershed's area relatively healthy conditions. Additionally, maximum minimum values 0.608 0.236, allocating 58% moderate security. northern part had healthier moderately desirable than southern part, unhealthy undesirable this sense, main problems primarily related anthropogenic factors followed by hydrologic ones. procedure used based on can be applied as practical guideline local managers efficient adaptive management.

-Lmg-term monitoring of ecological and hydrological processes is critical to understanding ecosystem function and responses to anthropogenic and natural disturbances. Much of the world’s knowledge of ecosystem responses to disturbance comes from long-term studies on gaged watersheds. However, there are relatively few long-term sites due to the large cost and commitment required to establish and...
متن کاملHydrologic Modeling of the Bouregreg Watershed (Morocco) Using GIS and SWAT Model
The study of water resources at watershed scale is widely adopted as approach to manage, assess and simulate these important natural resources. The development of remote sensing and GIS techniques has allowed the use of spatially and physically based hydrologic models to simulate as simply and realistically as possible the functioning of watershed systems. Indeed, the major constraint that has ...
متن کاملIdentifying dissolved phosphorus source areas and predicting transport from an urban watershed using distributed hydrologic modeling
[1] A reduction in surface water quality in urban watersheds due to nonpoint source phosphorus (P) loading has prompted municipalities to consider management practices to reduce P loss from landscapes. However, locating P source areas can be time consuming and expensive. Use of distributed models allows delineation of P source areas and focused management strategies. Using the spatially distrib...

Watershed scale hydrologic simulation models HSPF (Hydrologic Simulation Program – FORTRAN) and SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) were used to model the hydrology of the 2150 square mile Iroquois River watershed (IRW) located in the east central Illinois. Both models are part of the BASINS modeling system that facilitates preand post-processing of data, as well as data input to the models u...
